Thank you to Dr. Jill Seaman for joining Stop Hunger Now at the reception in her honor Wednesday, Sept. 3rd at the Umstead Hotel in Cary, NC. Dr. Seaman shared her experiences at the medical clinic she runs in Old Fangak, South Sudan, and demonstrated the humanity that still manages to thrive in the midst of civil war and a hunger crisis.
Dr. Seaman spoke to a full house of more than 100 supporters and donors. Thanks to the generous support of our South Sudan Campaign, we are now at 60% of our goal to fund shipments of Stop Hunger Now meals and live-saving Plumpy’Nut® to Old Fangak.
We appreciate your ongoing support of our $50,000 goal that will help us continue to supply much needed food to the people of South Sudan.
